Fred Newell with his Babicz Guitar!
Fred Newell, who for over 12 years was the lead guitarist for TNN's "Nashville Now" television show, adds the Babicz Identity Jumbo Cutaway to his arsenal. Along with performing live on television for literally millions of viewers, Newell has also recorded/performed with such country legends as Waylon Jennings, Barbara Mandrell, Percy Sledge, Maria Muldaur and Willie Nelson. "I was really impressed by the Babicz guitars. I am really looking forward to putting it in real working situations. I love the tone and the playability, and I am really looking forward to getting down and dirty with it. I think it is going to turn a lot of heads in Nashville" states Newell, who is also a staple at Nashville's Grand Old Opry. Fred Newell is a bonified veteran of the Nashville studio scene and has been heard on albums by George Strait, Ronnie Milsap, Jerry Reed, Connie Francis and Hank Williams Jr.
